Dance Theatre

In a 20-minute dance theatre performance, the young people gave creative expression to the messages and statements they have prepared on the topic of cultural and biological diversity. The dance theatre piece had been developed by everyone involved, under the direction of professional choreographers (Maria Lucia Agon Ramirez and Mohan C. Thomas). The pieces told the story of the dancers’ personal experiences and illustrated how young people experience biodiversity and what impact it has on their daily lives in the context of their family, their region, or their country as a whole. The scenes have been expressed through dance and movement. The cultural background and characters of the dancers from Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America countries gave the performance its distinctive quality.
